Experience
Urban Pattern is experienced working across key sectors including arts/cultural, health, education, industrial, community/recreational, hotel, commercial, residential and mixed use.
Primary experience relates to large scale planning approvals comprising State Significant Development applications, Part 4 Development Applications and Part 5 Reviews of Environmental Factors, together with Planning Proposals for land rezoning.
Clients range from Government, Councils, private developers, to non-government organisations.
Jane previously held the position of Associate Principal, Planning at Architectus, where she worked for over 12 years. During this period Jane led some of the largest and most high profile State Significant Development applications in NSW, including the major expansion to the Art Gallery of NSW - the Sydney Modern Project, and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment. She also led the Planning Proposal for the first rezoning under the Draft Central Sydney Planning Strategy for a tower cluster development area, achieving a Floor Space Ratio of up to 22:1 for 4-6 Bligh Street Sydney for hotel/commercial use through a new site-specific provision under Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012.
